Lastly, add variety to your account. You can do regular posts or story posts. The goal is to build a community that trusts and grows with you.
Step #3: Management
On-going management is about mainting your existing pages by being responsive to comments and messages as well as various other details.
As new social media trends happen then your business will incorporate and adapt to those trends.
For example, if you update a link to your website and want to share it with people then you must also update it accordingly on your Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
Step 4: Engagement
Engagement falls closely with management and responding to and engaging with your audience.
However, just responding is sometimes not enough. That's where engagement will come into play. There are various engagement techniques you can use but we've always found that the most authentic engagement does the best.
By engaging with other accounts, creating joint contests, commenting on user accounts will all help your business pages exposure.
Step #5: Social Media Advertising
You know your company is great so don't you want other people to know that too?
Social Media advertising is the most important step of all of them. If you skip everything else, make sure you don't skip this one.
Use this to create compelling ads that reach and target your ideal audience. For example, if you own a pet store then you may want to target people who have an interest in dogs or that watch animal planet. Makes sense right?
There are potential customers sitting right in your backyard that we can reach on social media for a fraction of the price that traditional marketing would cost.
Best part is, we get to collect all the data and use it to build out future campaigns each time which we will talk about in the next step called Retargeting.
Step #6: Re-Targeting
You know when you click on something online, let's say a new furniture set and next thing you know you see ads for it everywhere?
Well, you've been re-targeted my friend! The effects of targeting can be very beneficial and it enables us to re-market to anyone who lands on your website or even views a particular product on your website.
Take advantage of retargeting, otherwise you are leaving money on the table!
